I have a special interest edu-health programmes where so much could be done at very effective costs if network systems were designed so that there were 0 missing links from the grassroots up; a case in point is prevent HIV spread in India which I first heard the dimensions of from a few people in the field in December 2004; I gather Gates is funding this project with 200 million dollars; I am wondering how we could help double check it doesnt miss out on the deepest grassroots networks that need to be reached -anyone got some contacts who might be mutually interested - seems like the deepest grassroots mapping/network developing exercise ever done in rural areas, worth keeping an eye on for all the learning it generates http://www.thebody.com/cdc/news_updates_archive/2006/jul6_06/gates_india.html
